  • Sultan Grand Mosque: Daily morning visits from 08:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. except on Fridays.
  • Al Baleed & Museum: Sunday to Thursday from 08:30 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. 
  • Friday and Saturday from 03:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m.
  • Al Haffa Souq: Closed from 1:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. 

Tour Details

  • Commence the day with a visit to the splendid Sultan Grand Mosque, boasting intricate artwork and tiled adornments.
  • Mosque visits are possible every day from 08:30 to 11:00, except on Fridays. Ladies are recommended to wear headscarves or equivalent hijabs, and a modest dress code is advised—no shorts or sleeveless tops.
  • Next, explore garden farms hosting coconut, banana, papaya, and vegetable plantations. This will be followed by a visit to Al Baleed, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Museum of the Frankincense Land.
  • The Museum showcases the region’s historical and archaeological heritage, as well as its maritime legacy. Al Baleed is open from 08:30 to 20:00 on Sundays to Thursdays and from 15:00 to 20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Following the historical site visit, we’ll head to Al Haffa Souq (closed from 13:00 to 16:30), offering an opportunity to buy Frankincense gum and incense. The souq also offers various items such as jewelry, textiles, clothing, and traditional artifacts.
  • The excursion concludes with a photo stop at Al Husn Palace.
